When and where alerts appear
Tasks and Events alert before and at their start. Reminders alert at their set time. Completing a Task or Reminder occurrence stops its alerts while later recurring occurrences continue.
Alerts appear in Notifications and in-app popups, with optional Windows notifications according to your chosen delivery methods.
Windows notification delivery while the app is closed depends on the installed package and Windows settings. Check that behaviour on your computer before relying on it.
Open, dismiss or complete a notification
Start in: Notifications page or an in-app notification
- Open Notifications to see active notification cards.
- Choose Open activity on a card, or View Activity on an in-app notification, to inspect the activity.
- Choose Dismiss when you want to clear that notification.
- Choose Mark as complete when offered for a Task or Reminder and you intend to complete its eligible occurrence.
Result: The selected notification or activity action is applied and the notification display refreshes.
- Dismissal does not mean deleting the activity or marking its work completed.
- Completion is offered only for eligible Task and Reminder occurrences, not Event cards.
Snooze a notification
Start in: Notification card → Snooze
- Choose Snooze on a notification card.
- Select the duration in Snooze Notification, or choose a custom amount and unit.
- Read the displayed return date and time.
- Select Save & Dismiss Notification. For an in-app toast, choose Snooze for and then Snooze.
Result: The current notification is dismissed and scheduled to return after the chosen interval.
- Snooze duration is measured from the time the selection is confirmed.
- Close leaves the snooze dialog without applying a new choice.
Choose notification methods or pause alerts
Start in: Settings → Notifications
- Choose In-app notifications, Windows notifications, or both.
- Keep at least one method enabled; enable the other method before turning off the currently selected one.
- To pause alerts, configure Minutes, Hours, Days or Until… with the intended amount or resume date and time, then turn on Pause all notifications. If already paused, changes to the selection update the pause time.
- Check the Will resume message. Turn Pause all notifications off to resume earlier.
Result: Notification settings apply immediately and the pause expires at its selected time.
- This controls notification delivery rather than deleting scheduled activities.
- Invalid or past pause times are not accepted as a new pause.

Follow operation progress
Imports, exports and backups show progress. Check the stage before assuming the app has stopped responding.
